Privacy Policy

DoodleCoach ("we", "us") is a breed-specific dog-training app published by PepStar LLC. This policy explains what we collect and why. The short version: we collect almost nothing, we don't sell your data, and there are no third-party ad or analytics trackers in the app.

What we store

On your device. Your dog's profile (name, breed, size, coat, birthday), your family members and their names, training progress and streaks, and your chat history with the AI coach are stored locally on your device.

On our servers (Supabase). If you create or join a Pack to sync across your family's devices, your dog profile, family member names, and training progress are stored on our backend so other devices in your Pack can see them. A Pack is identified by a random Pack ID and an 8-character join code — we do not require an email, phone number, or account to use the app.

AI coaching. When you ask the AI coach a question, your message and your dog's profile are sent to our backend and to our AI provider (Anthropic) to generate a response. We do not use your conversations to train models.

What we do NOT do

• No third-party advertising SDKs.
• No third-party analytics or tracking SDKs. We do not track you across apps or websites, so the app does not ask for App Tracking Transparency permission.
• We do not sell or rent your personal information.

Affiliate links

Some screens link to products or services (e.g. Amazon, pet insurers). If you buy through those links we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Those purchases happen on the third party's own site under their privacy policy — we don't receive your payment details.

Children

DoodleCoach is a general-audience app for dog owners and their families. It is not directed primarily at children and is not part of Apple's Kids Category. We collect only the minimal data described above. Family member names are provided by the account holder and stored to power the shared Pack; you can delete them at any time.

Deleting your data

You can clear all of your on-device data at any time from My Doodle → Delete My Data. To request deletion of Pack data stored on our servers, email support@pepstarllc.com with your Pack join code.
